Deep down, you know there’s only one way you’re going to kick this down mood, and that’s with a nice hike. Taking some time for yourself and reacquainting yourself with the great outdoors is a great way to shake off the cold weather doldrums, but you can’t go unprepared! It’s important that you pack some good snacks to keep your energy levels up as you traverse rocky ridges and winding woods. That’s why we here at Sandhill Slims have put together this handy guide for some of the best snacks to take on a hike. -Trail Mix

With a name like that, it’s clear to see why trail mix is so perfect for taking on a hike, but this goes beyond just the name.
